We use social media as our “Dear Diary” and the micro blog only represents our emotional state at that moment not our prevailing persona and circumstances. In this regard social media can oft times become quite negative as readers perceptions of you are shaped by minute snippets of your life and experiences.
Also the lack of context for your posts, leaves you wide open for misinterpretation. Never has it been more apparent just how dynamic face to face contact is for non-verbal cues, all of which are non-existent in the world of social media.
To enhance your connection to the world via social media take the time to think about how you want to present yourself and forge ahead through the good the bad and hopefully the rewarding.
